Half-Day Rural Countryside Experience at Klong Mahasawat

Klong (Canal) Mahasawat is located next to Bangkok in the province of Nakhon Pathom, where agricultural and farm products are sold in their natural state. This half-day excursion will offer you the best view of the lifestyle of the rural of Thailand, only an hour’s drive from the centre of Bangkok city.   Then, take a seat at a nice garden restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Early pick up from the hotel and depart to Thonburi Train Station, you can have a unique experience with locals by taking the 3rd class non-air-conditioned train to Wat Suwannaram (train departs from Thonburi Station at 07:30 hours, arrives at Wat Suwan Train Station at 08:00 hours), short walk to the pier to get on the longtail boat. Enjoy the boat ride through Klong Mahasawat, take in the wonder of local life, and stop at the lotus pond, the lotus is known to be a devotional flower and a symbol of spiritual purity.  You will have the experience and test the local Thai snack during stops in each house of villages.

Continue by minivan to stop at “Little Tree Garden”, a nice restaurant next to the river decorated as an English Garden. Here you can have some coffee and tea, and enjoy the view. Then, return to Bangkok.
